Diamond Creek parkrun

Diamond Creek parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday morning at 8:00am at Marngrook Oval, Main Hurstbridge Road, Diamond Creek. Open to all ages, abilities, and fitness levels, it’s a welcoming and inclusive event where participants can run, jog, walk, volunteer, or simply spectate. Whether you’re a beginner looking to start your fitness journey or an experienced runner using it as part of your training, everyone is welcome. The event is timed, so you can track your progress, but there’s no pressure—just a friendly atmosphere and a chance to connect with others in the local community. Registration is required before your first event, and you’ll need to bring your barcode to be timed. After the run, participants often gather for coffee to chat and celebrate their achievements. Organised entirely by volunteers, Diamond Creek parkrun is one of the most popular in Victoria, regularly attracting around 350 people each week. It’s a fantastic way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Diamond Creek.
