The goal of our group is to create a fun, inclusive space for people to play badminton, stay active, and meet new people. We welcome players of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. We are a hybrid training group, which means we train both strength exercises and running. This not only makes us more agile but also faster, maximizing all the abilities of the human body. This prepares us to overcome physical challenges and compete in hybrid events such as Spartan Race, Hyrox, Deka, and OCR.
Mind The Walk
Mind The Walk is a friendly, social event designed to support mental health and wellbeing while getting active and connecting with others. Let's grab a coffee, go for a walk around The Tan and enjoy being in the presence, meeting new people, exploring this social event in a relaxed and open environment. The Tan walk is a 3.827km track around the Botanic Gardens. We could do 1 lap or 2 laps, see how we feel being in the moment.
Mums & Bubs Brunswick
A Mums & Bubs strength fitness class at our small family run business HI-BRID Altitude Training Brunswick. The classes run on Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am. This class is designed to help Mums with their physical and mental well-being postpartum. You get to move and strengthen your body whist also socialising with local mums!
No Lights No Lycra
A weekly dance event in the dark. We turn off the lights and crank up the tunes to release our inhibitions, move our moods and work up a wild sweat - all completely sober. 1 hour, music you know and love, no talking, no lights, just a whole lot of fun. An all ages event.

North-West Melbourne Walking Group (starts in Feb)
Wanting to meet new people, improve your fitness and be part of a walking group? One of my resolutions of 2026 was to be more active and what better way to do that than to start a walking group! The aim is to host regular walking events that focus on both movement and connection. This will be an inclusive group for everyone and for all fitness levels. Locations will vary across North and West Melbourne. Feel free to send through any recommendations!
Pickleball Peanuts
Pickleball Peanuts provides social Pickleball sessions on a Monday (11:30-1), Friday (6-7:30) and Sunday (2:30-4). Whether you are a pro or brand new to the sport, we would love to see you and join us fo a hit.

South Melbourne Sustainability Group
We are an enthusiastic group of volunteers passionate about growing food and composting waste at four community garden sites in South Melbourne and surrounds. We host friendly working bees twice a month for composting, planting and garden maintenance while chatting and spending time with neighbours - all are welcome to come along! Bring along gloves, a trowel and garden snips if you have them. Volunteers are also needed to water and check on the garden beds between working bees.
