Heffron Walking Group

The Heffron Walking Group is a friendly, inclusive community based in Matraville, part of the Eastern Suburbs in NSW. Meeting weekly at the Heffron Tennis Centre, this Heart Foundation Walking Group welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels for a medium-paced 5km walk that combines physical activity with social connection. Walks start at 9:45am on Mondays, with an earlier 8:45am start during summer months. The group is known for its welcoming atmosphere, making it ideal for newcomers, families, and those looking to stay active in a supportive environment. Dogs and prams are welcome, reflecting the group’s accessibility and family-friendly approach. With around 65 regular members, the Heffron Walking Group offers a great way to meet locals, enjoy the outdoors, and boost your wellbeing.
