Liverpool Seniors Walking Group
About the Group
✨
The Liverpool Seniors Walking Group in Casula is a friendly, weekly walking group designed for seniors aged 65 and over. Meeting every Monday at 9:30 am outside the front entrance of the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, this group offers a slow-paced, social walk lasting 45 to 60 minutes. It’s part of the Liverpool Seniors Well-being and Social Group, a partnership between Collective Leisure, Liverpool City Council, and South Western Sydney Local Health District, focused on promoting heart health, social connection, and active living among older adults. The walk is open to all seniors who enjoy gentle exercise and the chance to chat with others in a welcoming environment. No fitness level is required—just a desire to get out, move, and connect. The group is dog-friendly and pram-friendly, making it accessible for those with pets or grandchildren. For more information or to join, contact the walk organiser, David, directly. This group is ideal for anyone looking to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the local Casula community.
