Mates on the Move

Mates on the Move (MotM) is a social enterprise based in New South Wales focused on providing employment pathways and accredited training for men and women exiting the justice system. Operating in the Northern Beaches region, including areas like North Curl Curl, MotM offers a free 14-week accredited training course aimed at reducing recidivism by helping ex-prisoners reintegrate into the workforce. As part of its social mission, MotM also runs a transport and logistics service, which includes waste collection and recycling initiatives in partnership with organizations such as Mirvac. This program supports environmental goals like diverting waste from landfill while simultaneously creating meaningful jobs for disadvantaged individuals exiting prisons. By combining social impact with business services, Mates on the Move plays a vital role in fostering community inclusion and sustainability in the North Curl Curl area and beyond.
