Run the Tan RUN CLUB is a free, inclusive weekly running group based at the iconic Tan Track in Melbourne, located at the Pillars of Wisdom near the Royal Botanical Gardens. The club meets every Saturday at 8 am and welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers of all fitness levels and ages. Supported by qualified running coaches, the sessions offer options ranging from casual walks to structured run training, making it suitable for beginners through to advanced athletes. After the workout, participants often gather for coffee at a nearby café, fostering a friendly and social atmosphere. Run the Tan RUN CLUB is part of the larger Run the Tan initiative founded in 2019, which also manages the official recorded times around the Tan Track and hosts an annual charity event supporting mental health causes. The Tan Track itself is Melbourne’s renowned 3.8 km running route, popular for its scenic path around the Botanic Gardens and famous digital clocks displaying top running times. This community-driven run club encourages fitness, mental well-being, and social connection in a welcoming, no-pressure environment.
