Bad at sports? We don’t care! As long as you’re fun to be around, we want you to come join in. We play a different sport each week AND I organise beach days and parties on top, to give us a chance to actually socialise and make friends. It’s 100% free to try, and you are always welcome at our events outside of sport.

SoSo Sports: Eastern Suburbs in Bondi is a vibrant social sports league that makes exercising fun by offering a different sport each week, including touch rugby, soccer, AFL, European handball, hockey, and ultimate frisbee. It welcomes all skill levels, emphasizing fun, social interaction, and friendly competition over strict competitiveness. Games run for 45 minutes with varying start times around 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm, typically held on Thursday nights at Barracluff Park, North Bondi. Teams usually consist of 10-12 players, with a minimum of six required on game day.Participants receive a free team shirt in their first season, and player insurance is provided. SoSo Sports also organizes social events like beach days and parties to enhance community feel and connection beyond the games. The league encourages inclusiveness and ensures a relaxed atmosphere where players are friends, and good sportsmanship is valued over arguing with referees.SoSo Sports provides a unique opportunity for residents of the Eastern Suburbs, especially in Bondi, to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy a diverse range of sports in a social, supportive environment.
