St Peters parkrun is a vibrant, free weekly 5km event held every Saturday morning at Sydney Park, in the heart of St Peters, just outside central Sydney. Open to everyone—from absolute beginners to seasoned runners, walkers, and volunteers—St Peters parkrun is truly inclusive, welcoming all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Whether you’re looking to kickstart a fitness routine, train for a longer race, or simply enjoy a social morning outdoors, this community run/parkrun is designed for you.The course winds through Sydney Park’s beautifully maintained landscapes, featuring smooth paths, plenty of shade, and scenic views—especially from the top of the park’s signature hill. It’s dog- and pram-friendly, with chalk arrows and friendly volunteers guiding you along the route. The event starts at 8am, and you only need to register once online before joining in. After the run, many participants head to a local café for coffee and conversation, making it a great way to meet new people and feel part of the neighborhood.St Peters parkrun is a fantastic way to stay active, connect with locals, and enjoy one of Sydney’s most picturesque parks—all for free.
