Strength With Purpose in Mount Colah, Upper North Shore NSW, is a welcoming strength, balance, and agility class designed specifically for people aged 60 and over. Held weekly at the Mount Colah Community Centre, this 55-minute session offers a supportive environment where participants can improve their mobility, strength, and confidence. The class begins with a warm-up to music, followed by strength exercises using hand weights or resistance bands, tailored to individual abilities. Balance, agility, and mobility are then incorporated in a fun and light-hearted way, ending with a guided roll-down and gentle stretching.Led by a qualified fitness leader with over two decades of experience, the program is beginner-friendly and encourages social connection among participants. Classes are held on Fridays at 9:45am, with a small fee per session and concession rates available. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and bring water and a towel. Strength With Purpose is ideal for those looking to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy a sense of community in the leafy surrounds of Mount Colah.
