The Man Walk Belair
About the Group
✨
The Man Walk BelairThe Man Walk Belair is a free, weekly walking group for men aged 18 and over, held every Saturday morning at 8:00 am in Belair National Park. Meeting at the Goat Shed Café, the group embarks on a 5km social walk along gentle park trails—often as part of the Belair Parkrun—focusing on connection, conversation, and mutual support rather than pace or distance. The atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive, with walkers encouraged to join for the whole route or simply for coffee and a chat afterwards.Led by local volunteer “Manbassadors,” The Man Walk provides a safe, judgement-free space where men can talk openly, share experiences, and build friendships. There’s no pressure to perform; the emphasis is on mental and physical wellbeing, community, and making it okay for men to reach out for support when needed. First-timers are especially welcome, and there’s always a chance to connect over a coffee at the end of the walk—helping combat isolation and foster a sense of belonging. If you’re looking for a straightforward, meaningful way to stay active and meet other local men, The Man Walk Belair is a standout option—simple, supportive, and open to all.
