The Man Walk Busselton
About the Group
✨
The Man Walk Busselton is a community-driven weekly walking group aimed at promoting men's health, mental well-being, and social connection. The group meets multiple times a week for informal walks along the iconic Busselton Jetty, including Monday mornings at 6:30 am and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm, providing a supportive space for men of all ages to walk, talk, and share camaraderie. After the walks, participants often gather for coffee and discussions facilitated by guest speakers on topics related to men's health and community support. The group has grown significantly since its inception in November 2019, engaging up to 200 participants in community walks and additional activities such as school incursions and events focused on fostering resilience and healthy relationships. The Man Walk also supports special initiatives like a Dad’s group for new fathers and partners with organizations to offer free educational events. As part of a national movement, The Man Walk Busselton embodies the motto “walk, talk, and support,” actively combating social isolation and building positive connections in the local community.
