The Man Walk Crookwell
About the Group
✨
The Man Walk Crookwell is a free, weekly walking group for men aged 18 and over, held every Friday at 6:30 am. Starting from the Spring Street Carpark opposite the Crookwell Hotel, the walks are led by local volunteer “Manbassadors” who create a safe, welcoming space for men to connect, talk, and support each other. This initiative focuses on improving men's mental and physical well-being by encouraging open conversation and community connection without pressure or judgement. It embraces the simple but powerful idea that walking and talking together can positively impact men’s lives, making it “ok to talk” and seek help when needed. The Man Walk Crookwell is part of a larger movement active across Australia, aiming to reduce social isolation and promote health through community-driven support.Crookwell itself offers a historic and picturesque setting for the walk, located in the Southern Tablelands of NSW and known for its cool climate and rural charm. The town is rich in heritage, with many historic sites and vibrant community activities supporting well-being and connection.
