The Man Walk Kilmore
About the Group
✨
The Man Walk Kilmore is a free, weekly community event held every Sunday at 9:00 am, starting from Kilmore Bakery on Sydney Street. It is designed specifically for men of all ages to come together in a relaxed and inclusive environment to walk, talk, and support one another. The walk typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes and encourages open, meaningful conversations in a safe space, helping to reduce social isolation and promote mental wellbeing among men. There is no cost, membership, or commitment required—participants simply turn up and join in. The initiative was started by local organiser Phillip Collings after being inspired by a similar concept from New South Wales and has become an important social outlet for men in Kilmore, fostering connection and community through shared activity. After the walk, participants often socialize over coffee, strengthening bonds and support networks. The Man Walk Kilmore embraces men from diverse backgrounds, promoting a message that it is okay to talk and seek help when needed.
