The Man Walk Warners Bay / Lake Macquarie
About the Group
✨
The Man Walk Warners Bay / Lake Macquarie is a free weekly group walk held every Sunday at 7:00 am, designed specifically for men aged 18 and over. Led by volunteer “Manbassadors,” it offers a safe, welcoming environment where men can connect, share conversations, and support each other's mental and physical wellbeing through gentle exercise and social interaction. The walks start from Warners Bay Jetty along The Esplanade, providing a relaxed atmosphere for blokes to talk and laugh while benefiting from fresh air and movement. This community initiative emphasizes mental health, social connection, and physical activity, making it an excellent way for men in the Warners Bay and wider Lake Macquarie area to build friendships and improve wellbeing in a supportive setting.Warners Bay itself is a beautiful lakeside suburb located on Lake Macquarie’s eastern shore, about 15 km from Newcastle. It features scenic foreshore walking paths, including the nearby elevated Red Bluff boardwalk, and is known for its family-friendly atmosphere with cafes, parks, and cultural attractions like the Sculpture Walk. The area’s shared lakeside paths, welcoming community vibe, and access to outdoor activities make it a great location for The Man Walk, combining natural beauty with social connection.
