Willoughby parkrun in Artarmon is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday morning at 7:00am in the peaceful Artarmon Reserve on Burra Road. Open to everyone regardless of age, ability, or experience, it’s a welcoming and inclusive event where participants can walk, jog, run, volunteer, or simply spectate. The course winds through scenic parklands and native bushland, featuring hard paths and a memorable Aboriginal artwork tunnel, making it a beautiful way to connect with nature and the local community.No registration fee is required—just sign up once on the parkrun website and you’re ready to join in. The event is timed, so participants receive their results by email, which can be used for personal goal setting. Walkers, runners, families, and even dogs on leashes are all welcome. After the event, many stick around for a coffee catch-up, sharing stories and building connections.Willoughby parkrun is more than just a run—it’s a vibrant community movement that promotes health, happiness, and social connection for all.
