About the Group
✨
DANCEmandala Movement Meditation in Ballina, NSW, is a transformational practice blending freeform dance with meditative movement to promote healing, self-awareness, and wellbeing. Held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at Ballina Scouts Hall (33 Canal Rd), sessions last about 90 minutes and are guided gently by music and facilitator support, but involve no choreography — participants move intuitively and freely, following their inner rhythm. This practice helps release physical tension and emotional stress, encouraging participants to reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and inner flow. Through meditative movement, breath, and varied music soundscapes, DANCEmandala nurtures clarity, joy, and presence, making it accessible for all levels and body types, with no dance experience required. It creates a supportive, non-judgmental space suitable for emotional release, creative expression, and social connection within the local community. The sessions foster physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing by moving between stillness and dynamic dance, helping people cultivate mindfulness, spaciousness, and vitality in daily life. Participants often experience a deep meditative state within minutes, fostering clarity and inner peace.
