Located at the iconic Manly Beach, our running club offers more than just workouts—we’re a supportive, inspiring community of athletes, positive-minded runners, and expert coaches. Whether you’re chasing your first 5K or training for an ultra-marathon, we’ll help you achieve personal bests you never thought possible.

Manly Beach Running Club is a friendly, expert-led running community based at the iconic Manly Beach in inner-city NSW, Australia. The club welcomes runners of all levels, from beginners aiming for their first 5K to ultra-marathon trainees. They offer daily morning group runs Monday to Friday at 5:30 am, starting from Manly Beach Surf Club, where participants enjoy a scenic 6-7 km run followed by core and strength training. Beyond regular runs, the club provides personalized training programs for distances including 10 km, half marathon, marathon, and ultra-marathon, guided by founder and head coach Joe Ward, a champion ultra runner. Members benefit from a supportive, uplifting environment focused on fitness, social connection, and enjoying the natural beach setting. The club also includes the Shelly Swim Club for ocean swimming enthusiasts. The atmosphere is welcoming, chatty, and inclusive, emphasizing fitness and fun over competition.
