About the Group

The Man Walk is a free weekly walk and talk for men aged 18 and over. Led by local volunteer “Manbassadors”, each walk provides a safe, welcoming space where blokes can connect, have a chat, and support one another.

The Man Walk Darwin is a weekly walking group for men, held every Saturday morning at 7:00am, starting from Traveller's Walk Stairs in Darwin City. The walk offers a relaxed, supportive environment where men can connect, talk, and support each other through a 45-60 minute stroll around the city. The motto “Walk, Talk, Support” reflects the group’s mission to foster positive mental health, encourage open conversation, and combat social isolation among men. Open to men of all ages and fitness levels, The Man Walk Darwin is free to join and welcomes both regulars and newcomers. The group is led by local volunteer “Manbassadors” who help create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. After the walk, participants often enjoy coffee together, strengthening community bonds. With roots in a simple idea to get men moving and talking, The Man Walk has grown into a nationwide movement, with over 80 locations across Australia. In Darwin, it’s become a valued part of the local community, helping men build connections, improve wellbeing, and feel supported in a judgment-free space.
