About the Group

The Man Walk is a free weekly walk and talk for men aged 18 and over. Led by local volunteer “Manbassadors”, each walk provides a safe, welcoming space where blokes can connect, have a chat, and support one another.

The Man Walk Jamberoo is a regular, free walking group specifically for men aged 18 and over, held twice weekly on Monday and Friday mornings starting at 6:15 AM from King's Patisserie and Cafe in Jamberoo. It provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where men can come together to walk, talk, and support one another in a relaxed environment without pressure or barriers. The group encourages men to open up about any issues they are experiencing, promoting mental health and social connection through shared activity. Led by local volunteers known as "Manbassadors," this initiative aims to normalize conversations about men's wellbeing and help participants feel comfortable asking for help if needed. The walks typically last 45 to 60 minutes and cater to various fitness levels, welcoming men from different age groups starting at 18 years old and above. The Man Walk is part of a broader movement across locations including Kiama and Gerringong, dedicated to fostering community and mental health support for men through gentle physical activity and peer connection.
