Ipswich Thriving Seniors - Choir Group

The Ipswich Thriving Seniors Choir is a vibrant and welcoming community choir based at the YMCA Springfield Lakes Community Centre, located at 53 Springfield Lakes Boulevard in Springfield Lakes, Queensland. It is designed specifically for older adults aged 60 and over, and First Nations peoples aged 50 and over, providing a joyful and social way to connect with others through singing. Led by the talented Carla McGlynn, the choir offers a supportive environment where seniors can express themselves musically, make new friends, and enjoy the benefits of group singing. This choir is part of the broader Ipswich Thriving Seniors program, which aims to empower older Queenslanders to stay active, engaged, and connected in their local communities through various activities and social groups.
